Freedom Transcending through Time and Culture

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

~ Speech by Nelson Mandela

Freedom helps people throughout time. Freedom is a trait that many people posses. Freedom is good because it lets you make your own choices. Freedom is when you get to do whatever you want all by your self with out anyone commanding you to do so. It's values are that it makes people do whatever they want to do and whenever they want to do. Freedom has been grrowing through time and culture. A example was when Nelson Mandela stayed at the prison and demanded freedom for his people. He succeded and gave freedom to people. That has been going through different times and cultures like Gandhi or Martin Luther King.
